Low Maintenance Curves
A small space in a modern house was a fairly steeply-sloped lawn which was both impractical and unattractive. The client wanted this garden to be low-maintenance, low budget but not completely without planting for colour & texture.
Project Year: 2014
Project Cost: £1,000 - £5,000
Country: United Kingdom
Area: Frome
The brief was for a low maintenance garden, with some manageable growing space that dealt with the sloping access without needing steps.
Our design team came up with 2 curved walls with a sweeping curved sandstone path running between them.
Small sleeper-built raised beds allowed for some vegetable growing
A reasonable-sized border allows for the planting of a tree and numerous shrubs to soften the overall scheme.
The view from the pre-existing raised beck – the client was as delighted as we were!
