Japanese Zen Garden
This job was quite an undertaking. The starting point was a dilapidated swimming pool that the client wanted to turn into a striking Japanese Zen garden, complete with feature boulders and fine rakeable gravel. The project called on all our skills and local contacts to create an absolutely stunning feature.

Over 100 tonnes of infill was required. Brought in during one of the wettest winters in the history of Somerset. Never before has a swimming pool proved so difficult to empty!
Quite a change from the start point. This fantastically positioned B&B had fantastic facilities, wonderful views and then a grotty old swimming pool stuck in the middle! Green & Gorgeous was asked to turn this into a Japanese-inspired Zen gravel garden. A project was born .....
